A test for HDRI render. Using Full render, sky but no GI
( it's longer than i expected, although it's really recommended to turn the GI on)

Cinema 4D | Soft & Rigid body

A test of rigid and soft body in Cinema 4D. There's a soft simulation glitch in the end, but that's how i learn something. It's not for a real project, so i don't bother to re-render and re-simulate again. After all, a little error gives a learning process more interesting.. I learn a lot from GSG tuts.. check out the website.. http://greyscalegorilla.com have fun..:)

Cinema 4D | Cloner Object Part II

Another test with cloner object in Cinema 4D. I used depth map generated by cinema also to play with the DoF. Using the frischluft depth of field in AE, it gives flexibility to control the blur and focus area. If there's no frischluft Dof effect in your AE, don't worry because "lens blur" effect can also be used and it's a default effect, not a 3rd party plugin. Yes, It's so much fun..:D

A quick test with cloner feature in cinema 4D. I added also DoF using depth map generated. So far, I'm really enjoying this feature, so many options and buttons to play with, and possibilities to combine with other mograph features, e.g. random effector etc..

Cinema 4D | Graphics opener

It’s the first intro I made with cinema 4D. It’s a powerful tool to create motion graphics, but the most exciting part is a tight integration with AE. Notice the text “now in HD” in the end, originally it was just a straight front view footage, but suddenly with camera from cinema4D imported, suddenly it feels like it’s being made in 3D itself. This integration promises new opportunities and opens limitless possibilities. Definitely, i’m going to try out other features.. C u later..

Motion Track test Maya-PFHoe 02

Posted on 5:03 AM, under

Another test with PFHoe-Maya-AE This time I’m trying to slow down when taking movie, and it actually works. The tracking got good reference, but some dark spots still left un-tracked, not a good solid one. Makes me want to try another shot or angle. :)

Motion Track test Maya-PFHoe 01

Photobucket

Camera : Canon 550D 18-55 mm
Footage: 1280 x 720 50 pfs
Pipeline : PFhoe-Maya-AE-Vegas
Lessons from the test
1. Too shaky footage makes harder to track
2. Markers did a pretty good job, although slightly wiggles in the end
3. Considering using steady cam to gain more control
4. HD footage makes it heavy to process, at least with my comp..:))
Anyway, it’s been fun :D
